Acer Iconia W700, which is designed primarily for business users who expect to shuttle them between home PCs and office. Instead of a keyboard dock, the W700 comes with a stand that allows you to prop the tablet in either portrait or landscape mode. Unlike other products that we have seen, cradle here does not have a built-in battery or keyboard, only three additional USB 3.0 ports to complement the one on the tablet itself. When you're in the mood for the trip, including the case doubles as a stand. The tablet also comes with a Bluetooth keyboard, but no mouse. As we said in our review, the keyboard dock with built-in battery will be more flexible, because it will allow people to use it anywhere without packing so many pieces (ie, a separate keyboard and mouse). So long as you can accept the minor inconvenience, though, the W700 is a good specimen: well built with fast performance and long battery life is surprising, especially given that the touchscreen 1080p.
Bottom line: The W700 is a fast player and also one of the few devices Windows 8 to offer a long battery life.
