China's ZTE has launched its latest touch-screen tablet device, ZTE Light Tablet, in the Chinese market, which is 3G ready, powered by Android v2.1 and features 7-inch touchscreen.

The new ZTE Light tablet weighs only 403 grams and offers a faster browsing experience and 7 inch TFT touch screen.
In addition, ZTE Light tablet also supports voice calls on UMTS 2100 MHz dual band MHZ/900 and internet access on HSUPA networks with download speeds up to 7.2 Mbps and upload speeds of 5.76 Mbps.
The Light ZTE tablets also smart packet processing capabilities featuring 512 MB of RAM and 512 MB ROM and is supported by Android 2.1 Operating System and is expected to upgrade to v2.2 Android some time after release.
The Light ZTE to provide enhanced business applications through the Android platform is open and allows access to more than 100,000 third-party applications and content services from the Android Market Place.
The tablet is completely supports a variety of Google services like Google Search, Google Maps, Google Talk, Google Docs, Document Viewer, YouTube and Gmail, Multi setup Email accounts, desktop widgets application and read documents online and editing features.
ZTE Light is equipped with a touchscreen-7-inch screen and includes 512MB ROM and 512MB of RAM in addition to external SD memory card slot which allows upto 32GB of expandable memory.
For data connectivity, Light ZTE offers a dual-band UMTS 2100 MHz MHZ/900, HSUPA network with download speeds up to 7.2 Mbps and upload speeds of 5.76 Mbps, WiFi 802.11b / g wireless LAN connection and Bluetooth wireless connectivity.
Additionally, Light ZTE also has G-sensor that supports various multimedia and games and a built-in GPS with GPS navigation capability.
Some other highlighted features of the ZTE Light Tablet PCs include 3.0 megapixel camera, music and video player with support Mp4, compatibility standard image format, 3.5 mm stereo headset and up to 10 hours of battery time work.
Price and Availability
The Light ZTE Tablet PCs currently on display at the Beijing Exhibition ", but there is no news about pricing and availability in any market yet.
